Artist Bio

Jen Eaton
Hello! My name is Jennifer Eaton. I am a self-taught acrylic landscape artist, living in the village of Cumberland on Vancouver Island, BC.
I love to spend time hiking, especially in Strathcona Park. I also enjoy rock climbing, and mountain biking here in Cumberland. I have two kids, and we love to go camping all over the Island. We also enjoy heading out to the west coast, and I try to surf, but mostly just get thrashed around in the waves. BUT! that feeling of riding a wave in is as good as it gets.
I started painting in 2009. I’ve been using the same water jar since. I have only ever used a plate as a paint pallette, and still have two of my original brushes, which remain my favorites. I paint what I love and what inspires me. Mountains, Oceans, Forests….
There is a lifetime’s worth of inspiration out there. Truly right in my backyard. Im so grateful for that.
So, here are my West Coast inspired landscape paintings…
currently working on my first series, inspired by the mountains of Strathcona Provincial Park.
🌿 I’d always love to hear from you if you have any questions, comments or are interested in an original painting or larger reproduction, please send a message my way!
